It is NOT to teach you how to become an empowered woman who has 100% agency over herself, her size, and her image and I say f*ck that.
We’re not doing that anymore.
We’re not buying into their BS or giving them another penny.
We are not supporting them, because, in truth, they are not supporting us.
So it lies on you, Mom.
It falls on your shoulders to learn how to care for yourself so you can model this to your daughter.
And when I say care for yourself, I mean learning how to BELIEVE you are worthy of taking time each day to move your body, feed yourself nutritious foods, hold boundaries, delegate tasks so you’re not doing it all, and prioritize your wants and needs.
You have to believe this with all your being so your daughter will believe it as well.
Because it starts with your belief in your value as a woman.
You are important.
You are needed.
You are necessary.
You are THE MOST valuable thing in your children’s life and ALWAYS will be.
When you believe this, you do everything in your power to take care of yourself so you can take care of them.
And by breaking the generational cycle of devaluing yourself, you will teach your children a new way of being.
You will teach them they are also important, worthy, needed, necessary, and valuable…because they are. But you already know this, now teach them to believe it for themselves.
I promise you, when you do this work, weight loss is guaranteed.
When you value yourself, health is guaranteed.
When you believe you are necessary, important, and worthy, all your actions will align.
And the result is living a life in a body you are proud of, is healthy, and moves freely each day.
The result is living in a mind that is free of cruel and damaging thoughts.
The result is you give your daughter a fighting chance to love her body, feel proud of her size, move freely, experience health and longevity, and think of herself as the amazing girl that you see her as.
If you’re afraid to take the leap for yourself, take it for her.
