Sometimes I tell my clients to stop exercising to lose weight.
At least stop the way they are CURRENTLY exercising.
But I don’t do it blindly.
I never guess.
I ALWAYS lean on the data from their labs and the science of physiology.
When I have visibility into my client’s chemistry, I can make strategic exercise recommendations that will maximize their efforts while protecting their health.
For example, if a woman is chronically stressed and her adrenal glands are insufficient, I will DECREASE her cardio sessions and replace them with weight lifting, yoga, or pilates.
If a woman is menopausal, I will INCREASE weight lifting with interspersed cardio sessions.
Sometimes I’ll pull all physical activity other than walking, stretching, or gentle yoga if a woman is in a healing protocol.
Exercise and weight loss should never be generic.
It should always be scientific to ensure you are gaining health while losing weight.
