Were you modeled to spend time, money, and energy investing in yourself?
I know I wasn’t.
So the first time I did, I invested small. I found the least expensive route because I was modeled that spending money on myself was not what women did, especially mothers.
And my results were small.
But it felt safer than going “all-in” with a big investment that cost lots of money, and time, and would require me to do the seriously deep work I’d been avoiding.
I was playing it safe.
I kept hovering on the periphery doing the easy work; the work I knew wasn’t going to get me the massive change necessary to launch me forward.
One, because I wasn’t comfortable with spending a lot of money on myself. Where I grew up, women didn’t do this. It was seen as selfish, frivolous, unnecessary, and indulgent.
Two, I was scared. What if I failed, or “it” didn’t work?
This was my pattern for years.
Invest small.
Net small results.
Until I met a woman that taught me otherwise.
She taught me that betting on myself was the only way forward.
And if you’re going to bet on yourself, bet BIG!
Put all your chips on the table because that’s when you know there’s no turning back.
When I did this, something shifted in me. I showed up like my life depended on it; because it did.
I showed up as I’d never shown up for myself before.
I went BIG!
And I got BIG results.
It wasn’t easy.
I was freaked the eff out most of the time.
It was beyond uncomfortable.
I was judged by others and told I was being reckless and irresponsible with my money.
But I did it anyway.
And I’m so glad I did because it changed my life.
Breaking generational modeling is necessary in order to accomplish greatness in your life.

This is what we do in The SHED.
Teach you to bet on yourself to become the model of what is possible for your daughter, friends, niece, mother, aunt, co-workers, and strangers.
Go big ladies.
Bet on yourself.
Put all your chips on the table and never turn back.
