Being overwhelmed means you are mentally or physically stressed.
When you are stressed, your fight or flight mechanism is activated causing a huge cortisol dump.
Cortisol in unregulated amounts creates inflammation (puffy).
Cortisol inhibits sugar from entering the cell for energy and keeps it in the bloodstream. If not used it’s stored as fat.
Cortisol lowers your sex hormones, especially DHEA and Progesterone leaving you with hormonal imbalance…cue being moody, having PMS and feeling bloated. Cortisol lowers your immune function.
Just from being overwhelmed.
No amount of kale can fix this.
